AQC, established in 1953 in the city of Chittagong, has a rich history. Our esteemed Founder, Late A. Qasem, FCA, held the distinguished position of being the most experienced practicing Chartered Accountant in the country. He completed his training at the renowned A.C Roy & Co. branch in Kolkata (formerly known as Calcutta) back in 1946. Notably, Mr. A. Qasem played a pivotal role as the Founding President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). In addition to his accomplishments, he also served as the President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) in 1968.
AQC's humble beginnings trace back to its first office location in Andarkilla, Chittagong, which was established in 1953. Eventually, the office was relocated to the prestigious Dost Building in Chittagong. In the mid-1950s, recognizing the growing importance of the capital city, our head office was moved to Dhaka.
At present, AQC operates from two offices in Dhaka and one in Chittagong, housing a dedicated team of over 300 skilled professionals and nearly 40 administrative staff members.
