Why this decline of "Akhtar Furniture"...? Very recently (November 2024), a piece of furniture was purchased from "Akhtar Furniture". While buying it from the Karwan Bazar showroom, the young salesman said that their product had been supplied to many government offices for several years during the previous government's tenure. Anyway, I bought it with a smile from my previous good experience of using Akhtar's furniture. But after receiving the delivery, I noticed a major discrepancy in the product. The glass used on the upper part of this furniture is of very low quality. Several unwanted stains (scratches) are also evident on one or two parts of the glass (in the picture). Proper fitting and finishing were not done in the case of using glass in wooden furniture. The wood used is also not of sufficient quality. The paint finish on the wood was also not done in one or two places. When the seller of Karwan Bazar was first informed about the matter, he said that he would have to call the company's customer service center. After calling the customer service center and informing about the complaint, the mood of the employee's voice changed. The female employee's style of speaking or pronunciation of words was very hoarse. She first asked in a rough, rude voice whether I had spoken to the seller of Karwan Bazar about the matter. When I told her that I had spoken to her, she said that it was not possible for her to get any information regarding this sale without talking to the seller of Karwan Bazar. In the modern technological system, the customer service center or call center gets all the information regarding previous sales from the mobile number used during customer registration. It was understood that modern technology is not used in the call center of Akhtar Furniture. The call center is somehow being run by the once elite brand "Akhtar Furniture" with inefficient, poorly educated and low-paid employees...! I had a good experience using Akhtar Furniture products before. The main reason why this time I had such a bad experience was discovered later. Basically, in the past few years, the products of "Akhtar Furniture" have started to deteriorate in the supply of products to several government offices and projects. In the case of government projects, the opportunity has been taken to earn big money by making a "small" double-digit deal by keeping the design or outlook of the product correct and using some materials. That continuity is still going on, which is why the products sold to us are in this condition. Or who knows, "Akhtar Furniture" has prepared for us the low-quality products that were left over for government projects...! The most important thing is, the authorities of "Akhtar Furniture" did not hesitate to compromise their long-standing reputation in the greed of profit from double-digits in government projects...!
