About Anupam Recording Media

Anupam Recording Media emerged from the visionary aspirations of Md. Anwar Hossain, a fervent cinephile, who nurtured his dream amidst the bustling streets of Patuatuli, nestled in the heart of Old Dhaka, the epicenter of Bangladesh's music industry encompassing Disc Records, Cassettes, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, and digital platforms. From the humble confines of a small shop, his vision took flight, transforming into a formidable force.

Initially, Md. Anwar Hossain embarked on his journey as a solo trader, dealing in film and music paraphernalia for various production houses. However, driven by his passion and determination, he laid the foundation of 'Anupam Recording Media' and established his own production house.

In 1984, he ventured into trading Records and LPs (Long Playing Phonograph Records) as the exclusive agent for two of Bangladesh's leading companies, Dhaka Record & Ipsha Record. Over time, Anupam burgeoned into the premier repository of Bangladeshi film songs, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of the industry.
