The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council is a non-political organization uniting Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian citizens living in Bangladesh. Its primary goals and objectives include upholding the principles of the Liberation War—nationalism, secularism, democracy, and socialism—preserving the unity and solidarity of the Bengali nation, ensuring the fundamental human rights and freedoms of all people regardless of religion, caste, or community, recognizing the dignity and values of humanity, creating opportunities for the full development of a normal life for all individuals, ensuring religious freedom, eliminating discrimination, deprivation, and communalism, ending the exploitation, oppression, and discrimination of indigenous and marginalized populations, establishing social freedom and justice, and building an exploitation-free society. The organization also aims to create a comprehensive state structure based on the equal status of people from all communities.
