As a Chinese and pao lover, it is quite surprise to see this in Dhaka. Pao was soft, fluffy but the fillings I ordered - creamy prawn wasn’t really my palate. Perhaps, other flavours were better. On the other hand, their fries were really amazing. I also have to comment on their music selection played in the restaurant. It elevates the atmosphere by giving customer a feel of Pan Asia or Chinese vibe.

Bao is a Pan-Asian restaurant located in a vibrant street of Gulshan 1, Dhaka. I must say their food is praise worthy, and they serve a decent portion for the price range. The seating arrangement was great, and the staff were extremely friendly, giving me honest suggestions and recommending me the best food. To conclude, this would be a great place to hang out with your friends or family members.

One of the best places for quick bites. We ordered the following items: 1. Naga Rojo Bao 2. Creamy Prawn Bao 3. Peach Iced tea (wasn’t on the menu but its good. The price is Tk. 200) I absolutely loved the creamy prawn bao. It was sweet and creamy and the prawns were super fresh. The naga rojo bao was average, not too much spicy. Bao is served with fries with dips and coleslaw. Both the fries and coleslaw was good. I would also recommend to ask them for the peach iced tea. Its not on the menu but they’ll certainly provide if you ask for it and its good! The staffs are very professional. They were well behaved. The place is well decorated. It has a cozy and warm theme. Overall I recommend everyone to try out this place.

Great ambience and service. Cozy vibes, and the song choices were great, they used songs from animes like Suzume . Food was great as well. We ordered peri peri chicken platter, thai bamboo thick noodles bowl, mashed potatoes, watermelon mojito, watermelon juice. The peri peri chicken was too spicy for me, so they changed it and gave a fresh one. The watermelon mojito was fresh, but a bit sour for me. Overall it was a good experience.

Small place with a good range of dishes. Prices are worthy according to the taste and quantity. They could made the sofas more comfortable, setting arrangements aren’t spacious. They use lemon leaves in rice and it gives a kick to the taste which is very refreshing. Beef minced and cooked properly. Behaviour of the attendants are good but service could be better. But then again, food taste covers these all.
