Best campus and university in bangladesh, anyone have ever think that a private university can build this type of campus. The building is hightec and this type of building is very first time in the country. Just one truth the location is in very busy area of the city.

BRAC University, (Bengali: ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, also known as BRACU) is a private research university located in Merul Badda, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 2001 as a branch of Sir Fazle Hasan Abed's BRAC under the Private University Act 1992 Sir Fazle Hasan Abed founded BRAC University in 2001, under the Private University Act. Located at Kha-224, Merul Badda, Dhaka, the university is based on the American liberal arts college model. The university began with just three departments and around 80 students in 2001 at Mohakhali, Dhaka. It held its first Convocation in January 2006. As the university grew, it increased the number of programs and introduced master's degrees. The development of a library with high academic standards was important to Sir Abed. The Ayesha Abed Library was digitized shortly after its inception. The university had 11,200 students in 20 schools, departments, and institutes in 2020. BRAC University has a permanent campus in Merul Badda, Dhaka, a campus designed by WOHA Designs Pte Ltd., an architectural firm based in Singapore. Construction of this facility began in 2017. The university building will have 13 floors and a total area of 157,935 sq. meters. The facilities include an auditorium with 700 seats, a multipurpose hall with 1850 seats, classrooms, labs, design studios, lecture theaters, an IT data center, UPS, CCTVs, a cafeteria, an e-library, a parking lot, recreation facilities, and a rooftop playground. The new campus is 2017 LafargeHolcim Asia Pacific- Bronze Winner awarded by LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction. Until November 2023, the educational programs were conducted on the temporary campus of Mohakhali, but from now on, all the activities will be conducted on the permanent campus of Merul Badda.

I got arrested a few years ago. Don't get discharged yet. The environment is pretty nice, with spacious rooms, high-speed wifi, and nutritious food on a budget. The Turkish wrap is a little bit salty, which doesn't quite go with the garlic sauce. The authorities are quite humble, and so are the faculties. Recommended for all

It's an architectural marvel designed by WOHA Designs Pte Ltd., Singapore, and can accommodate approximately 12,000-15,000 students. This state-of-the-art campus, spread across 6.29 acres, is not only spacious but also a testament to sustainable construction, having won the 2017 LafargeHolcim Asia Pacific- Bronze for Sustainable Construction. Almost half of its land area is dedicated to green spaces and water reservoirs, reflecting our commitment to environmental stewardship. BRAC University's reputation is a source of immense pride. Nationally, we stand as the number one university alongside three others, and globally, we rank within the top 1000 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024. Our university is more than just an educational institution; it's a vibrant community of nearly 10,000 students, including postgraduates, dedicated to academic excellence and innovation. We excel in a variety of research areas, ranking in the top 50% across 26 research topics globally.
