This is their head office. In a nice area, nice environment, along with nice gesture from them. Been there for a pre-viva assessment test as part of a job interview. You can call it a posh office in a posh area.

A Homely & Humanitarian Atmosphere
Established in 1990, BURO Bangladesh stands as a prominent 'non-profit' non-governmental development organization operating at the national level. Its fundamental mission is to address poverty in a sustainable manner, with a strong focus on uplifting impoverished individuals. This institution specializes in microfinance, delivering top-notch and flexible financial services to the economically disadvantaged, with a particular emphasis on women, who form its primary clientele.
To cater to the ever-expanding financial requirements of its target demographic, BURO has rolled out six distinct loan products, along with a specialized offering tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, it provides two savings products and an insurance scheme, further bolstering its comprehensive financial services portfolio.
Notably, BURO Bangladesh administers a nationwide Remittance program, directed at facilitating the flow of foreign earnings earned by Bangladeshi expatriates working abroad to their family members back home.
The organization also extends support to small and marginal farmers through its agricultural loan program and offers stepped-up loans to entrepreneurial clients under the "enterprise loan" initiative. Furthermore, BURO maintains an extensive array of development programs specifically designed for the hardcore poor and operates a disaster mitigation program, primarily targeting vulnerable individuals affected by calamities.
Over the years, BURO Bangladesh has celebrated significant achievements, steadily progressing toward financial sustainability.
