So one star fewer for the price. It's a great place to have coffee and chocolate. That's for sure. I have been there a few times already now. And the ambience and the services are absolutely top notch. The coffee is good. And they serve variety of coffees as well. I have also tried their breakfast menu and it matched my expectations in terms of taste and quality. But be mindful of their prices. It's extremely expensive. Even the smallest coffees. But you pay for the overall experience I guess. It's definitely a place to visit but not a place if you want to spend your every afternoons and mornings, I am afraid.

Excellent place in the Diplomatic zone for chit chats. They are a great option for deserts. Been visiting here for years and I stilling didn’t have enough of them. Service is fast and staffs are helpful and friendly. Has proper parking spaces. Their Loaded Fries was a bust, wasn’t upto my expectations. BBQ pizza was really good. I have been having their Chocolate Lava Cale for years and I can’t recommend that enough l. It’s the best all over over Dhaka. The size of the cake has shrunken throughout the years but nevertheless it’s still really good. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor dining is a charm. This is a must go to place.

The atmosphere is great although the food quality wasn't up to the mark. Chicken strips were lacking spices, even it had no salt. The loaded fries were really good but a bit expensive. The drinks are always up to the mark

Food taste is not over the top or something but every item is made with really high quality ingredients. You can really taste the premium grade of the food. Servicing isn't as good as it used to be. The atmosphere is a little underwhelming imo.

Butlers Chocolates embarked on its journey in 1932, originating in Lad Lane, Dublin. Marion Butler, a remarkable and visionary woman, founded the company, bestowing upon her exquisite chocolate creations the name "Chez Nous Chocolates." With unwavering dedication, Marion established her confectionery business in the heart of the fashionable Georgian Dublin, meticulously crafting her delectable treats by hand. Born in India and later settling in Ireland, Marion continued to produce her mouthwatering chocolates until 1959 when Seamus Sorensen from Cork acquired the company.
In 1978, the reins of the business were passed down to the next generation, ensuring its continuity. Today, Butlers stands as one of the few remaining family-owned chocolate manufacturers within its market, maintaining a legacy that spans generations.
During the 1980s, the company underwent a rebranding, transitioning into Butlers Irish and eventually adopting the name Butlers Chocolates as a testament to Marion's unwavering commitment to the artistry of chocolate, a pursuit we wholeheartedly continue to this day.
In 1989, Butlers opened its inaugural retail store on the renowned Grafton Street, Dublin's premier shopping destination. This store served as the cornerstone for the company's highly successful retail concept, the Butlers Chocolate Cafés. Presently, 24 Butlers Chocolate Cafés grace prominent locations across Ireland, accompanied by franchises in the Middle East and South Asia. These meticulously designed emporiums offer a lavish experience, presenting the finest chocolates, delectable confections, and premium hot beverages, including the award-winning Butlers Hot Chocolate.
With a workforce comprising 400 dedicated individuals, Butlers now operates not only its factory in Dublin but also an extensive network of Butlers Chocolate Cafés throughout Ireland. The essence of family and unity permeates the unique culture at Butlers, fostering unwavering loyalty among its staff. Many employees have remained with the company for numerous years, witnessing both their personal growth and the company's evolution hand in hand.
Being 100% Irish family-owned, every achievement of Butlers is the result of collective teamwork and a shared objective: to create the most tantalizing chocolates while providing the utmost care and service to our cherished customers.
Today, Butlers Chocolates can be savored in over 40 countries and 60 airports worldwide, a testament to its global reach and enduring popularity.
