Dapper is best for it’s extraordinary custom made design & fitting. Very much professional but I'm not satisfied with the price & quality of the fabric. Dapper purchase some local market fabric which cannot be over 2000/ but they keep the price more than 8000/ bdt. They have also fabric collection from European market over 100000/ range which also seems overpriced to me. Otherwise their making is awesome. U can trial ur clothes several times until it satisfy u. So the best custom made clothing home in the city is Dapper without any doubt.

Dapper Bespoke used to be the best bespoke tailor in Dhaka, unmatched in quality and service. Recently, their prices have increased, which would have been justified if their service and quality had improved or at least remained the same. Since 2023, the quality of their shirt stitching has deteriorated significantly. While the cutting and construction are still acceptable, the stitching quality is now similar to or worse than that of the top ten tailors. Additionally, one of their tailors recently left, and the replacement is inexperienced and unprofessional. His cutting and construction skills are poor, and he struggles to properly construct a safari or suit, giving the impression that he was hired from a street tailoring shop. Their materials, such as linings, have also changed. Regarding service, one of the managers, who is quite overweight, appears to be lazy. I don't want to fat-shame anyone, but it’s clear that he is not fit for this job. The bearded manager, however, is well-mannered and professional. It's disheartening to witness how one of the best tailors in Dhaka's history is heading towards extinction, much like Fops Gold Star Tailors.

So what started as a nice customer service ended up as one of the worst I have ever had. One of my relatives recommended them. So I contacted them from the US to make a suit and a salesman helped me choose fabric through Whatsapp. I was impressed with that. Once I arrived in Dhaka, I went to their shop. The salesman took a bit of time to appear. Once he did, he helped me finalize the fabric. I chose one of the most expensive ones (Holland and Sherry, cost BDT 1.43 lacs). They took about 10 days to get my suit ready for the first trial. That's a relatively good turnaround time during the busy month of December. During my first trial, I pointed out that both the jacket and pants were a bit short. The master tailor agreed to fix them. I came back after a fews days to try them again. This time I noticed that the back of my jacket was marginally longer than the front. I pointed that out to the master tailor, but he would not agree and kept arguing against the obvious. Then I had to show him the blazer I brought with myself to prove my point. He didn't seem convinced but eventually agreed to fix it. Since I wanted that suit to attend an event, I told him that I would take the suit with me for now and come back the day next so that he could fix the length of the jacket's back. As promised, I went back to the shop the next day to give him my suit. The master tailor said it would be ready tomorrow. The next day I sent one of my staff to pick up the jacket. When he brought back my jacket, I was shocked! The master tailor did not fix the length of the jacket at all! He just lied that he would and made me waste my time!!! I paid Dapper Bespoke a total of BDT 1.69 lacs for this suit and this is the service I received! Stay away from this cheat!

Dhaka boasts numerous suit tailoring shops, but I'll focus on the ones I frequent. I'm here to expose some and highlight where to find the best. Typically, I need 3 to 3.20 meters of fabric for a standard suit and a maximum of 1.3 meters for standard trousers. For a dress shirt, I usually require between 1.6 and 1.75 meters. Starting with Sartorial, Sarto, Fiero, waasi bespoke, and Zaiyan bespoke, they all seem to operate with deceptive practices. Imported fabrics are already expensive, and I wonder if the owners are even aware of it or if their managers are instructed to do so. They often claim I need 1.5 meters for pants, 3.5 to 4 meters for a suit, and 2 meters for shirts. Converting these measurements to yards results in a significant markup, and we, the customers, end up paying extra. In stark contrast to these shops, Dapper has always treated me fairly. Everyone there, from the tailors and manager to the owner, is honest. They never inflate fabric requirements, which saves a considerable amount of money. I can assure everyone that they don't engage in these scams. They only specify what's truly needed. Moreover, their quality, service, and after-sales support are excellent. So, skip the rest and head straight to Dapper to save your hard-earned money. To conclude with , stay away from Mr Noor. He is a fraud . And ask them to get your suit tailored by Mr Ratan . Mr Babu is very rude and aggressive in his behaviour. Even if you do get Mr Babu as your tailor then make sure Mr Shezzan is there during your trial .

Dapper is the best tailoring shop, not only in Bangladesh but in the world. Firstly, their creative director, a tall guy with back-brushed hair who is always well-dressed, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He assists clients, understanding exactly what they want. Their tailoring is a perfect 100 out of 100. He also ensures that everything is done perfectly during the fittings. Moreover, they are the only shop that doesn't charge tax to customers, which I love. Forget every other bespoke tailoring shop in Dhaka; Dapper is the best. I know friends who say Dapper is expensive, but open your eyes! You get what you pay for, and they are the best. Lastly, their manager, Mr. Rezaul, who wears spectacles, is amazing. I rarely make a purchase whenever I visit Dapper, but this man makes me feel like Dapper is home, and we customers are always welcome. He offers me coffee, and even when I mention that I'm not there to purchase anything, he replies in Bengali that it's not an issue. My presence means a lot to him. Tell me, where else in the world will I get such treatment? In other shops, the sales staff stand like beggars, waiting for us to make a purchase, and if I say I'm not there to buy anything, they either act rude or ignore us. People in Bangladesh, remember: Dapper is the best. It's not just an atelier; it's a place you should all visit. We feel better talking to these people. Long live Dapper. Best of luck!
