About Language Proficiency Center

Welcome to the Language Proficiency Center (LPC), a distinguished institution chosen by the American Center as the in-country service provider for the English Access Microscholarship Program, aimed at supporting students from underprivileged backgrounds. Our journey began in 1998 when we established LPC as a private Language Institute in Dhaka with the noble vision of offering a platform for the less privileged students to master communicative English.

Over the years, we have expanded our reach to encompass Chittagong in 2008 and Rajshahi in 2009, striving to bridge the language gap among various communities. One significant observation made by the American Center was that Islamic religious schools, commonly known as Madrasahs in Bangladesh, were often overlooked when it came to English language education. The students attending these Madrasahs come from highly disadvantaged backgrounds, making it financially challenging for them to afford language courses elsewhere.

In harmony with the American Center's philosophy, LPC believes that by focusing on Madrasah students, we not only introduce them to a fresh and diverse learning environment but also pave the way for numerous new opportunities, especially for those with a drive for success. The decision to embrace this approach yielded fruitful dividends in the end.

LPC takes pride in its experienced team of resourceful educators, currently comprising thirteen skilled individuals, who employ state-of-the-art teaching tools and techniques. We offer a wide array of courses, including communicative English, spoken Arabic, spoken Bangla, Basic Computer skills, and preparation for standardized tests like TOEFL, SAT, and IELTS. While most private language institutes limit their courses to three to six months, LPC goes the extra mile by providing English language programs ranging from three months to two years, catering to the unique needs of our diverse course participants.
