In the year 1968, Melody & Co took its inception in the vibrant city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a profound mission to cater to the burgeoning music industry in Bangladesh. Following the momentous Liberation War of 1971, our music landscape underwent a transformative shift. During this era, the genre known as "Rock & Roll," which has since evolved into what we now refer to as "Band Music," gained immense popularity among the youth, sparking a surge in the demand for musical instruments. In this pivotal period, Melody & Co emerged as a steadfast ally, continuously meeting the diverse requirements of music enthusiasts.
Within our own state-of-the-art factory, we craft a range of indigenous musical instruments, including the harmonium, tabla & baya, and acoustic guitar, among others. In addition to nurturing local talent, we proudly serve as the exclusive distributors of globally renowned brands such as Fernandes, Sterling by Musicman, Paiste, D'Addario, M-Audio, RME, Focusrite, MOTU, Casio, Rode, Neutrik, MusicMan, Erneiball, Sennheiser, Stranger, JBL, Sound Craft, Crown, Lexicon, Dbx, Seer Audio, CVR Audio, and numerous others.
Over time, our journey has encompassed a seamless transition from traditional acoustic instruments to cutting-edge musical marvels, effectively culminating in a comprehensive music solution. We extend our unwavering commitment to the music industry through a network of four showrooms strategically located across the capital city of Dhaka, complemented by appointed franchises in other cities, ensuring nationwide coverage.
