I recently stayed at Babylon Hotel during a business trip from May 24 to May 27, 2025. I booked a Single Deluxe Room, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The room was neat and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a good workspace. It had everything I needed for a productive and relaxing stay. The environment was peaceful, which helped me unwind after a busy day of meetings. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. Room service was quick, and the food tasted great. I also found the Wi-Fi to be reliable, which was important for my work. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return on my next visit to Dhaka. It’s a great option for business travelers who value comfort and convenience.

Honestly, finding this place was a lifesaver! I was really concerned about safety and budget while looking for a place to stay in Bangladesh. This hotel felt incredibly secure, like being in a diplomatic zone. The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful– they really went the extra mile. I'm definitely coming back here on my next trip to Bangladesh! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and affordable apartment or hotel.

A shocking and horrible experience in an Airbnb in Dhaka, Bangladesh located at 319 Eastern Road, Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka, Bangladesh. * Here are a few of my WhatsApp communication with them with the dates. But unfortunately no response or action was taken on my problems. * I have broken my left leg in this Airbnb since something very heavy from the lift top of an age old faulty lift fell on my head first and than on my leg making me severely injured. * These Airbnb guys charged me 75000.00 extra money which was completely illegal. Once I asked them about this one old guy and another young person (May be his son) along with another 2/3 attacked me and an old person tried to physically assault me. * I have all the proofs along with the pictures and videos with me about my concerns. If anyone wants to have those, I will be more than happy to share those with you. * Though they say that their reception is for 24 hours, virtually most of the time noone is available in the reception. * I hired one unit for 2 months (60 days), But once I arrived there they said month will be of 28 days. But nothing on this is mentioned in their website. This is a pure "Cheating" by them. * There are plenty of trees and plants in roof top and on the first floor which is virtually a safe nest of insects and mosquito. I found many insects inside my room. Due to the heavy presence of mosquitos any guests can anytime get attacked by Dengue and risk their lives. In Bangladesh each year many people die out of Dengue fever. * They never clean the rooms and provide necessary house keeping supplies which they are supposed to provide. * Please see below some of my self explanatory communication with them to have a good idea about this Airbnb. I have many more concerns, but only a few is mentioned here. * My stay was there from 15 November 2024 to 08 January 2025. * Very risky and extremely unsafe Airbnb. Many misleading and wrong information in their website. November 16, 2024, Unfortunately one sad thing happened tonight at around 11:20 PM. We were having dinner. Suddenly we discovered 4 insects in the dinning space (Picture and video attached). At the same time we also discovered many more outside approaching our apartment. I called the front desk. He came and also saw few were moving all around. He swept the space and even after we have seen more Virtually we will have sleepless night today. It was really unexpected for me to have such experience. I was not mentally prepared for this. Please arrange to shift me immediately to any other unit. This is a real emergency. Waiting for your quick response. Thanks To add, * WiFi connection was so fluctuating I could not use it at all for about 12 hours. Virtually I got to get down to the lobby about 5/6 times to make call via WiFi. * Certain light/fan suddenly got stopped and front desk staff came and sorted it out * The entrance door is faulty and cannot be properly locked from inside which is a serious security concern. * It is now 12:05 AM and I discovered one in my bedroom. I called the front desk. He came and removed that one. So, I will have a sleepless night today. November 26, 2024 About my unit. * The main washroom floor does not dry up. * Kitchen door is broken. * Curtains are awfully dirty. * Your staff uses our unit to take care of your garden compromising our privacy and security. * All the soap dispensers are empty. * Few of the bulbs are fused. * Dining chair covers are extremely dirty and with full of spots. * One dinner chair upper part was not properly fixed and for that one of my guests fell down on the ground from the chair. * A few of the furniture are broken. * One washroom does not have curtains on the window and can clearly be seen from the adjacent apartment. * Some of the room walls are partially dirty. * Commod and wash basins are not properly cleaned. * Stair lights are switched off too early. * Unstable WiFi and phone signal. * No 24 hours reception though said. * No house rule booklet in rooms. * Undulating entrance may result in injury. * Fraud and cheating with guests.

Good location,The hotel boasts a friendly and helpful staff, with some reviewers mentioning a welcoming atmosphere. Free WiFi is available, and the location provides easy access to various parts of Dhaka. Another plus is the on-site restaurant, although some reviews suggest the food may be a bit spicy for non-local tastes.

UPS isn't work for upper floor. Elevator is slow and sometimes no operation. And I don't like smell. Cleaning is once per 2 days.
