The roots of IICT lie in the transformation of the erstwhile Computer Center of BUET, which has been meticulously adapted and enhanced to form the strong foundation of the new institute. In line with the government's vision of nurturing IT expertise, the Syndicate made this prudent decision, elevating the former Computer Center to new heights.
