"I recently visited the CRP-Mirpur (Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed) and had a very positive experience. CRP is the best for stroke patients. They have a 45-day treatment plan for stroke patients. Open all day except Friday and government holidays. OPD and IPD, both options are available. Apart from that they have pediatric sections. The canteen facilities are there. AC cabin price is tk. 3,000 per day and non ac cabin is tk. 2,500 per day. In cabin, one extra bed for attendance and a two seat sofa with a balcony, fridge, and geezer.

This is a hospital for physically challenged people or who have mental or physical disabilities. This is run by the government and one and only rehabilitation care home in the country. They have residential packages too like a 14 days full coverage package at 20,000 taka. Visiting hour stars from 3 pm to 9 pm. The place is clean and secure.

It is a good place for brain stroke and different types of disability patients, and also for kids who have different types of disabilities due to birth issues or various deficiencies. It is good to see that some disabled persons also work in CRP, who may have previously received treatment from CRP and been rehabilitated in different branches of CRP. However, the total number of beds is not enough to support the people of Dhaka city properly. Though the outdoor service is also good, it comes with moderate expenses for night therapy support, which helps working people. Since this is a hospital, it requires one neurologist and one heart or medicine specialist, along with a general orthopedic doctor. The canteen service is present but not sufficient for indoor patients and their relatives. Food is provided at limited times, but the quality is moderate with less variety. The number of supporting nurses is less than the required amount. This place is good for low & middle-income people, but the total 7 week expenditure is around 1.3 lakh to 1.7 lakh if you hire a supporting person, along with all food and medicine expenses.

CRP provides medical treatment, rehabilitation and support services focusing on physical, emotional, social, psychological and economic aspects. Best for orthopedic and physical therapy, language therapy treatments. Located in Mirpur 14. But you need more time to get the serial and treatment services. Maybe whole 1 day you need to get a serial, to visit the doctor, to test your body. After all, you will get the proper good treatment, i think! Try to get in the place earlier in the morning to get your serial early. Treatment for therapy also needs serial. You can book your slot anytime earlier, might be days or weeks ago!
