The resort is good, not wow, but not bad either. Most of the facilities inside require extra payment, which is acceptable. However, for a resort that claims to be 5-star, the service is nowhere near 5-star standards. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant and food. We ordered from their menu, and the food quality was very poor. The fish had a noticeable smell, and when we raised the issue, they simply offered a complimentary dessert as if that solved the problem. The food prices are extremely high, but the quality is extremely poor. I was genuinely embarrassed in front of my guests because of the food quality. I would not recommend this place because of the restaurant. They should also make indoor activities more accessible and easier to use for guests. Stayed here on 14–15 May this year.

The resort is quite big. There are number of activities. However, the activities are limited in their specific areas, like, there's a Zipline, but the Zipline is too small, also, it costs you extra money. Most of the activities will cost you more money, which is the case for almost all the other resorts in Bangladesh, so I don't know if that could be a point of complain. The complimentary breakfast was not up to the mark in my opinion, it's okay, but the quality needs to be better at that range of pricing. The menu other than buffet is okay, neither the best nor the worst. Besides, there's hardly any options for you to eat outside, so you are pretty much bound to eat from inside. The football and cricket field was impressive. They didn't finish building the adventure activities yet, can't tell when will they be available completely. Something needs to be noted that, because of so many trees around, there's lots of insects, which is pretty much the fact for other resorts as well, but I haven't bugged by so many insects in other resorts I have been (the likes of Sarah, Kalmegha, Grand Sultan, etc), but in here, it's hard to sit somewhere for a while without getting bugged by so many insects, and some might be harmful too. So, they need to improve the PEST control I guess. The employees and stuff behavior was good.

went there for a spending an Eid UL azha vacation. Despite being expensive even after giving Discounts offer it was enjoyable. The food quality was deliciously fine. Room service was satisfactory. Other excluded services such as boating and sightseeing by buggy was ridiculously costed very much which is not worthy spending. However, the only unique thing and extraordinary service they provided that stole our hearts is they allowed us to keep our caged birds in the room.

In breif, that's an amazing place as a resort. There’s a good decorations and gardens. Quite & clam place for refreshment. The staff, their service & food test is so nice. N.B : Food Prices are little bit high, need took improve in room service & care. Thanks.

I had a very pleasant experience overall. The first thing I noticed was the warm and polite behavior of the staff. They were helpful and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The security of the resort was also good, which gave me peace of mind. The facilities at the resort were well maintained and made the stay enjoyable. One of the best parts of my visit was the food. It was very delicious, fresh, and served with care. I think the food is one of the strongest points of this resort. However, there are some areas that need improvement. The booking procedure was not very smooth, and it could be made easier for guests. In addition, the customer service should be more responsive so that visitors do not face any difficulty when they have questions or requests. In conclusion, Dera Resort is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit with good facilities, great food, and friendly staff. If they improve the booking process and customer service, the overall experience will be even better.
