Test / Quality of the food not good. Foods really really expensive. Staffs behaviour is nice. The mont disappointing part -some Items are in the menu but it’s available when you want to order-

I was extremely disappointed after visiting this restaurant. The quality of the food was extremely subpar and the items used were not fresh, rather the restaurant management used mostly stale food items to prepare the dishes. For example the shell of the fuska items were old and not crunchy at all. The amount of yoghurt used in the preparation of dahi phuska and dahi vada was extremely less and consequently the dahi based gravy of the items where very much watery and therefore tasteless. We ordered one dahi vada, dahi pushka, paratha and butter chicken. The food definitely was not on par with the price which was extremely high. The total bill for two persons for this dishes to that almost 1520 taka. Furthermore, the hygiene standards of the restaurant seems to be very poor while visiting the laboratory it was observed that the surroundings of the restaurant were unhygienic. I would strongly recommend not to visit this restaurant because of the poor quality of food and as well as the hygiene standards of the restaurant surroundings. Please do not waste your money here, rather prepared this food that home with proper dahi.

I recently visited Dhaba after many years and was excited to see how it had evolved since my university days when it was located on Street 11. Back then, Dhaba was a cozy, casual spot that my friends and I frequented for its affordable and tasty meals. However, the restaurant has since migrated to a new location and undergone quite a transformation. We ordered the Fuchka Platter, Dahi Fuchka Milkshake, and Pad Thai. I must say, the food was good, just as I remembered. The fuchka was crispy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and the Dahi Fuchka Milkshake was a unique and refreshing take on the classic. The Pad Thai was tasty, with a nice balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors. However, the experience felt very different from what Dhaba used to be. The new ambiance is polished and elegant, which gives off more of a fine-dining vibe rather than the everyday eatery it once was. While I appreciate the effort to elevate the atmosphere, it feels like the charm of the old Dhaba has been lost in the process. One major downside is the price. The dishes, though delicious, are now significantly more expensive, despite being the same items from the old menu. What was once an affordable spot for students has turned into a place that feels out of reach for a casual meal. Overall, Dhaba still offers good food, but the price hike and change in vibe make it less of a go-to spot for me.

We really enjoyed our visit to Dhaba Banani. The fuchka items were great. The seafood soup was simply sublime. The appetizer sampler was a good choice. The service here was top quality with the staff being very friendly, attentive, and courteous.
