Visited Dhalis Amber in Munshiganj for a day trip without booking a room, and it turned out to be a great experience. It's an excellent option for a day-long getaway near Dhaka. One of the main attractions is the swimming pool area. I particularly appreciated that they have a separate swimming pool for women with proper boundaries, making it more comfortable and family-friendly. The staff were supportive and helpful throughout the visit. The property also has several enjoyable spots to explore and relax, including a scenic bridge, a tree house, and a larger tree house with seating arrangements. These areas are perfect for taking photos or simply enjoying the surroundings. At the time of my visit, the entry fee was BDT 400, while entry with unlimited swimming pool access was BDT 900, which felt reasonable for the facilities provided. The only downside was the food pricing. The food was decent, but I found it a bit expensive. Unless you're planning to stay until the evening, dining there may not offer the best value. Overall, Dhalis Amber is a wonderful destination for a short escape from the city, especially for families and groups looking to spend a relaxing day close to Dhaka.

The location and road access are good. The kids’ zone is amazing, and the resort is very family-friendly. There is a huge swimming pool available for a limited time. I especially liked the mosque because of its design. Overall, the environment of the resort is good. One point to note is that after 6:00 PM, there was no water in the washroom. I believe that once the development work is completed, the beauty of the resort will increase further.

Good place to chill for full day and overnight experience. Rooms are big and the most exciting part is the large pool. Property is well maintained, clean and facilities are ample. The food at the restaurant is also tasty, only the service people needs better training. Overall I recommend the resort as nice getaway from the city.

Room: Poorly maintained. • Broken sliding balcony door • TV had no sound • Bathroom smelled bad (even after long exhaust use) • Pool access ladder was shaky (loose nut bolts) • One light wouldn’t turn off; room service didn’t respond → had to sleep with the light on ⸻ Dining: • Food tastes good but overpriced • Staff mostly courteous • Payment policy is terrible—pressured to pay or sign the bill immediately after sitting, even as overnight guests ⸻ Play Zone: • Indoor & outdoor play zones both charge extra (unlike most resorts) • Basic equipment (slides, seesaws, etc.) • Indoor play zone is extremely hot and suffocating—avoid in summer ⸻ Gaming Zone: • Most machines are out of order ⸻ Swimming Pool: • Very large (comparable to Bhawal Resort) and overall good • Major design flaw: must cross the deep area to reach the shallow zone—risky for kids, though fine for adults ⸻—————————— Bottom line: Good for day long. Not recommended for night stay. Poor maintenance, weak service, and unreasonable pricing. They should focus on maintenance over expansion and prices should be lower.

Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dhaka? This resort is just the place for a day trip or an overnight escape. The rooms are big, comfy, and perfect for kicking back. The real highlight is the huge swimming pool—a treat you don’t often find at local resorts. Everything here is spotless, well-kept, and has little touches to make your stay more relaxing. The on-site restaurant offers delicious home-style Bangladeshi food and continental dishes, all made with love and good flavor. The food really hits the spot, but I have to say, the service can be a bit hit or miss.
