​I visited Grace Cox Smart Hotel in September 2021, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. ​What I liked: ​Service: The overall service was impressive. The staff was professional, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. ​Room Interior: I was particularly fond of the room interiors. They are modern, tastefully decorated, and provide a very cozy atmosphere. ​Food & Packages: We opted for the Full Board Package, and it was totally worth it! The quality and taste of the food were excellent—highly recommended for those who want a hassle-free dining experience. ​Room for Improvement: ​Swimming Pool: The pool is indoors, which didn't quite suit my personal preference. In a coastal destination like Cox's Bazar, I missed having an outdoor pool with an open view. However, this might be a plus for those seeking more privacy. ​Verdict: If you value great interior design, top-notch service, and delicious food, this is a fantastic place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to families and travelers!

We stayed here for one night as a group of four and booked two standard queen bed room. Overall, it was a very good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as expected. I’ve attached some photos and videos of our room for reference. The hotel offers all the basic amenities, including a complimentary buffet breakfast, which was a pleasant addition to our stay. They also have a gym and swimming pool, although we didn’t get the chance to try them due to our tight schedule. The staff were polite, well-mannered, and helpful throughout our stay, making the experience even better. Place is near to suganda beach point.

A Scam Wrapped in Four Walls I want my money back. Every single taka of it. Let’s start with the breakfast buffet — and I use the word “buffet” loosely, because calling this a buffet is an insult to the concept. Chicken khichuri, dim vuna, and luchi with a sad boiled egg. That’s what they had the audacity to lay out and call a morning spread. No chowmein. No noodles. No sandwiches. Not even vegetable and paratha — the single most common breakfast item in the entire country of Bangladesh. A roadside tea stall offers more variety. Some hotels within this same price range are out here offering actual buffets while this place serves three fixed items for main course on a tray and calls it a feast. It’s embarrassing. It’s insulting to guests. And it tells you everything about how little this management cares about the people staying here. The rooms are falling apart at the seams. The chair was broken. Bathroom door handles were literally detached. The furniture looks like it was sourced from a warehouse clearance sale in 2003 and never touched again. You are paying top taka to stay in a room that hasn’t seen a renovation since before smartphones existed. There is absolutely zero justification for charging what they charge while guests sit on broken chairs in rooms that look abandoned. And then they have the absolute nerve to charge 50 BDT per meridian cracker in room service. Fifty taka. For a cracker you can buy anywhere outside for 20 BDT. This isn’t a hotel markup — this is theft with a smile. They know you’re trapped inside and they exploit it without shame. Disgusting. The swimming pool made my stomach turn. Ground floor location means the water is perpetually cold — fine, annoying, whatever. But the real problem? The water doesn’t circulate. At all. It just sits there, completely still, collecting every bit of filth, skin, and dirt left behind by every single person who swam in it before you. It is essentially a large communal tub of stagnant water. I felt dirtier getting out than I did going in. I genuinely do not understand how this passes any hygiene standard. And then there’s the elevator — which I am convinced is going to kill someone. It shakes. Constantly. Violently. Every single ride felt like a goodbye to the world. This is not an exaggeration for dramatic effect — this is a machine that has clearly been neglected for years and is being held together by hope and rust. The management knows about it. They choose to do nothing. Someone will get seriously hurt, and when that happens, it will be entirely on them. The only decent thing about this entire establishment is the staff, who were warm, helpful, and responsive. They are working hard to compensate for the catastrophic failures of the people above them. They deserve sympathy. Their bosses deserve a wake-up call. Do not stay here. Not until they gut the breakfast, replace every broken piece of furniture, drain and properly maintain that pool, and — most urgently — take that elevator out of service before it becomes a tragedy. Your money, your safety, and your dignity are all better spent elsewhere.

The hotel is cozy, but it definitely needs renovation. The room walls look dirty and old, and the TV only has cable channels—no Netflix. The swimming pool was extremely dirty, so we couldn’t use it at all. There was no hot water in the room, and the water pressure was very low. The gym is small,completely broken and not usable. The morning breakfast was good—one of the few things I actually liked. However, the corridor decoration is good and the reception area were uncomfortable because there was no AC. The staff members were very unprofessional, especially the receptionist.
