Service: Professional, courteous, and highly accommodating staff. Note: Traffic around the Gulshan-1 intersection can get heavy during peak hours; plan transit accordingly. Verdict: Highly recommended for a convenient, comfortable, and scenic stay in the city.

If you are prioritize location above all else when visiting Dhaka, the Gulshan Lake View Hotel might appear to be a convenient option. Situated in the heart of the city near the Gulshan-1 circle, it offers immediate proximity to many of the area’s commercial hubs, dining spots, and key business offices. For those who need to be in this specific part of town for work, the accessibility is undeniable. One can somehow manage to stay at the room as this is located at a prime location near Gulshan-1 circle. However, once you move past the location, the experience shifts significantly. The condition of the rooms leaves much to be desired, particularly regarding maintenance and hygiene. The bathroom is horrible; you will find water leakage, which not only creates an uncomfortable environment but also points to a serious lack of upkeep within the facilities. Constant dampness and plumbing issues can quickly ruin the quality of a stay, regardless of how well-situated the building is. On a positive note, the service team does provide a baseline level of hospitality. Staff behavior is ok, and they generally attempt to assist guests with standard requests in a polite manner. Unfortunately, this does not extend to the dining experience. Complementary breakfast is just breaking the fast, nothing more. The morning meal lacks quality, variety, and substance, failing to provide the kind of start one would expect from a hotel in such a prestigious area. Ultimately, while the hotel sits in an enviable spot in Gulshan, the poor state of the infrastructure—especially the bathrooms—and the lackluster dining options make it difficult to recommend for anything other than a very short, emergency stay. If you value comfort and a restful environment, you may want to look at other options in the vicinity.

I have never seen such a hotel in my life. Bad hotel, bad hotel management. People sit on the sofas in black. A very bad guy, girls' numbers. Bad experience in life. BT Manager Mamun behaved very friendly.

Terrible room and bathroom. Bathroom had a broken door, broken toilet and sink. The bathroom isn’t clean enough. There were stains on the bedsheet. The bed side tables are broken and even the bedside lights. The hangers are rotted. Loud music till half past 1. Terrible experience if you’re here for a short trip.

Not recommended at all. Room was fine i guess, but the bathroom had a broken door, broken basin(i don't know how it is still holding up), unusable bathtub, had a bucket in the bathtub with non functioning faucet, had to take shower with a bucket and a mug and the shampoo quality was bad, AC and tv had old remotes. The room had a mini fridge but i was unable to connect that, needed a multi plug. As a matter of fact the socket i used to charge my phone, i really had to spend time to make it work so that my charger would stick. The receptionist was unprofessional, hung up the phone on me when i asked him something, just didn't wanna be rude. Breakfast was pretty ordinary. Pricey food. One thing i was impressed with was the dining staff or the room service people were polite and behaved nicely. Bed and the rest were okay i guess. Forgot to take pictures, i should have. Didn't expect a hotel like this in Gulshan area at this price level. Waste of my money!
