We usuallay visit many hotels.We went Agrabad to have fun together in the pool.If there are so many instructions,then there must be a problem.The person in charge is teaching swimming and then he says,the female hour is running." I went with my husband,shall we not go down together?My mother wore cotton,he did not let mom go down.Okay, I accepted that it is against the rules.But we all went down together, otherwise I would have gone to another hotel and I have not seen anything like this anywhere.He keeps saying that if foreigners will come now,you have to get up.Aren't we visitors?The man is good but he should have responsibility and awareness to keep tourists.I became aware and spoke softly.

Hotel Agrabad has been a staple of Bangladesh’s hospitality since 1969, and it’s a classic for a reason. It’s the ‘Grand Dame’ of the city-it has a vibe and a level of service that newer hotels just can't replicate. If you have business in the area, you can't beat this location; it’s a lifesaver for avoiding Chittagong’s famous traffic. Make sure to eat at Ichiban-it’s a local gem for Japanese cuisine. While the rooms have a bit of a throwback feel, they are large and kept very clean. The pool area is also a fantastic spot to decompress after a long day. If you appreciate a hotel with history and heart, this is the one.

Good location and rooms are clean. Breakfast menu not upto the mark. They provided cheap plastic hangers in the closet which are not matched with the hotel standard. The interior of the floor corridor is too low which gives a clumsy vibe. I think the interior ceiling gives a bad feeling. And the duvet! It’s too heavy and gives a discomforting feeling. The Hotel authority should seriously evaluate all these issues and bring a chane.

From check-in to check-out, everything is handled smoothly and with a smile. Another highlight is the breakfast. The variety and taste are always impressive, and it’s a delightful way to start the day before heading out for work. The quality and freshness of the food show the hotel’s dedication to maintaining high standards. What I appreciate most is the balance between heritage and comfort. While the hotel reflects an old and classic charm, it also ensures modern amenities and convenience for business travelers like me. Each stay at Hotel Agrabad feels both relaxing and memorable. Overall, Hotel Agrabad is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience that combines tradition, comfort, and excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chattogram, whether for business or leisure.
