I was in dhaka airport on 20th May. My flight was delayed by 5 hours. I was by my self there. 5 hours delayed so I thought why not go to a hotel near by so I can relax. So my brother from England told me go to Ali hotel in koshai bari uttora. I took a cab and arrived at Ali hotel from airport. As I approached to the counter I asked if I can stay there for 3 hour becz my flight ll be late. They said no problem. They said it ll cost me 12 hounds 14 BD taka, I agreed. OMG they given me room it was at 1st floor. (😕1)so dirty (🙄2)filthiest roon I even seen in hotels (😢3)so small(😩4)very bad smells in the room never been cleaned (😣5) bedsheet and pillow are been used dirty n human hair everywhere (😖6)also there is small sofa omg sooooooo filthy u can't even seat?????? I and up stay only 1 hour then book a cab back to airport. I weasted my money😖. Never again go there. Recommend?nooooo way. Not with the experience I had. (But one good thing I must say is there are 2 young man was working there as a hotel boy or helper I believe there native people (chakma or manipuri? I asked them to take my luggage to the other side of the road because from the hotel. Because it's was raining and so heavy traffic. My taxi was parked 5 minutes walk. They have been nice to me also I was rewarded them with very good tips. Both young man was extremely happy😀) As I told that I ll not go there again.🙏

Don't know why the reviews are so bad. Stay is fine. You get what you get everywhere in Bangladesh for this price, even above average maybe.

The worst hotel I've seen in my life. Rooms are not clean at all. Bathroom, I don't want to think about it! Very bad. Staff is not cooperative. Behavior is too bad as well. A few days ago I stayed there and there was an electricity problem. It was a hot summer night. The voltage was low. The fan and light were not working properly. I asked in the reception and the man who was there told me it's a problem from the Electricity supply company. But there was no problem with all other places like shops, hotels, markets etc. Even in other hotels. I asked again when may this be fixed? He told me no guarantee. They don't know. They don't have a generator as well! I just cannot remember that dark and hot night! I paid them while booking. I couldn't stay there and checked out. I took another hotel near it. That was a relief to me. I don't recommend Hotel Ali to anyone. They are completely scammers. Be aware of them.

Disgusting 🤢 Didn’t have time to go to another hotel because we were really tired and it was just for one night we booked 4 rooms. It was horrible experience. I went there because my driver recommended us. The towels was really dirty told the guy to change but he never came back. The hotel recommended a restaurant near by which had food that was tasteless also. Anyway never going back there. The bed sheet and pillow was dirty! The bathroom was dirty! They sprayed mosquito spray which did not work. The only good part is that they have parking.
