I booked this hotel (City International Residence, Green Road) through Qantas via Expedia and paid in full. Upon arrival, the reception staff flatly refused my reservation, claiming they do not accept bookings made through any website. This explanation is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns, as legitimate hotels are not listed on major platforms like Expedia or Booking.com unless they honor online reservations. Even after presenting a valid booking confirmation and proof of full payment, the staff still denied my stay. This behavior is unprofessional, misleading, and feels like an outright scam. Based on this experience, I strongly doubt the authenticity of the positive reviews posted here. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I had an excellent experience at Hotel City International. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
