Staying at Hotel Kollol by J&Z Group was a great decision for our family trip. Its biggest strength is definitely the prime location near Laboni Beach and how close it is to everything. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was cooperative throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the balcony views of the ocean were beautiful. They have nice amenities like a clean swimming pool and a gym. The complimentary breakfast had a decent variety of local items, though the taste could be improved slightly. Also, the restaurant area gets quite crowded during peak morning hours. Overall, it is an affordable, clean, and secure property that offers excellent value for money. 4 out of 5 stars!

Stayed here for one day. The room quality was honestly very impressive — clean, comfortable, and much better than I expected from a 2 star hotel. However, the service experience was a bit mixed. Some staff members lacked proper hospitality etiquette, and the receptionist did not appear very welcoming during interactions. A smile and a more positive attitude toward guest requests would make a big difference. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the service did not fully meet my expectations.

Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the fresh ocean breeze made every moment special. The hotel beautifully combines comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. Every staff member treated guests with genuine care and professionalism, which made the stay even more memorable. The rooms were cozy, the ambiance was relaxing, and the food added a perfect touch to the experience. If you are looking for a place in Cox’s Bazar where comfort meets serenity, Hotel Kollol by J & Group is definitely a destination worth experiencing.

Rooms are moderately spacious and with comfortable beds, clean toilets, have basic equipment. The common toilets were however dirty.Bangladeshi food, limited tea/coffee and drinks options available during the breakfast. The hotel has nice inner garden and halls, elevators and stairs. Easy to walk around. We booked the room via WhatsApp connected to the phone in Google Maps. One of the persons in customer service was very rude. We wouldn’t book the room after the personnel behavior, but the payment was already made and they refused to refund. The upper manager was however nice and polite who fixed the issue after intervention by an administrative officer.

I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was extremely dirty, and the overall cleanliness standards were far below what I expected. There was an unpleasant smell throughout the corridors, making it uncomfortable to walk around the property. The swimming pool was located right beside the parking area, which reduced the relaxing atmosphere and did not feel appealing or well planned. Overall, the hotel failed to provide a clean and comfortable environment for guests. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others and would not choose to stay here again.
