My Experience at The Cox Today Hotel, Cox's Bazar I recently stayed at The Cox Today Hotel with my family, expecting the level of comfort and service that a 5-star hotel promises. Unfortunately, the experience was far below our expectations. The room was disappointing, and the washroom/restroom was not maintained to a standard worthy of a luxury hotel. Housekeeping services were also poor, with noticeable shortcomings in cleanliness and overall maintenance. Another major concern was accessibility. The entrance road leading to the hotel from the main city and the beach is extremely narrow, broken, and muddy. It was inconvenient and certainly did not create the impression of arriving at a premium 5-star property. One experience that particularly surprised me was when I requested a toddler toilet seat for my 3-year-old child. Not only was the hotel unable to provide one, but the staff also seemed unfamiliar with what it was. For a hotel that claims to be family-friendly and 5-star, this was quite unexpected. To be fair, not everything was disappointing. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and enjoyable, and they were the best part of our stay. Overall, I was disappointed because the quality of the rooms, housekeeping, guest services, and accessibility did not match the standards expected from a 5-star hotel. I sincerely hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to deliver the experience they promise.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel The Cox Today! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were always polite, attentive, and eager to help. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a great view of the surrounding area. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities we needed were provided. We especially loved the pool area and the buffet breakfast, which had a great variety of both local and international dishes. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy Cox’s Bazar in comfort and style.

They claim it's a 5-star hotel but I don't think they meet the criteria to become a five-star hotel. The reception and lobby area are well decorated, cleaned and spacious. However, the quality of service they provide is not up to the mark. They should train their existing employees specially the room service. To me, they should update the interior of the Rooms. Decorations and furniture need maintenance as they are deteriorating very fast. The road towards the hotel is broken and water clogged. The swimming pool and restaurant are good. Overall, the price is higher compared to the services they provide.

I recently stayed at Cox Today Hotel and the overall experience was quite disappointing for a property that claims to be five-star. The road leading to the hotel is in very poor condition, which creates an unpleasant impression even before arriving. Inside, the behavior of the staff felt unprofessional and far below the standard expected from a premium hotel. The room condition was also not satisfactory; the furniture appeared worn out, with faded paint and visible damage in several areas. Additionally, there were a large number of mosquitoes in both the room and the lobby, and it seemed the hotel had not taken any effective measures to address the issue. The buffet selection was also surprisingly limited, which further added to the overall dissatisfaction. Considering all these factors, the stay did not match the expectations set by a five-star rating, and significant improvements are needed to enhance guest comfort and service quality.
