japan Bangladesh friendshipn nursing college is wonderfull
The inception of the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Foundation (JBFF) marked the commencement of a journey characterized by non-political, non-profit, and privately managed initiatives in Bangladesh in 2008. The visionary behind this endeavor was Prof. Sarder A Nayeem, a distinguished laparoscopic surgeon hailing from Bangladesh. As time unfolded, this initiative evolved into a collaborative venture between two nations, namely Bangladesh and Japan. United by a common purpose, we embarked on a mission to establish a comprehensive center for healthcare education, uniting various components under one roof.
Within this overarching framework, we nurtured a cluster of institutions that epitomized the bond between Japan and Bangladesh. These included the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (JBFH), the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Retirement Homes (JBFRH), the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Nursing College (JBFNC), the North Western Nursing Institute (NWNI), the Medical Assistant Training School (The MATS), the International Institute of Health Science (IIHS), the Evergreen Nursing Institute (ENI), the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Language Institute (JBFLI), the Japan Bangladesh Friendship College of Health Science (JBFCHS), and the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Caregiver Institute (JBFCI). All these entities found their shelter under the protective umbrella of the JBF Foundation.
A significant milestone in this journey was the establishment of the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (JBFH) in 1993. Recognized as a pioneering effort, JBFH quickly made a name for itself within the healthcare landscape of Bangladesh. Buoyed by its success, the JBF Foundation became driven by the vision of empowering the marginalized and underprivileged youth residing in rural and suburban regions of Bangladesh. The objective was to groom them into competent healthcare professionals capable of serving humanity. This vision led to the gradual establishment of various sister concern healthcare institutions, each specializing in education and training.
At its core, this foundation was conceived to forge a nation enriched with skills, liberated from the shackles of ignorance, unemployment, inequality, premature marriages, and destitution. This grand vision aligned perfectly with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, driving us to contribute our part.
In the wake of the global healthcare crisis, the Japan Bangladesh Friendship Foundation's institutions - JBFH, JBFNC, NWNI, The MATS, IIHS, and ENI - took up the mantle of addressing the shortage of healthcare professionals on a global scale. With a clear vision in mind, these institutions aimed to become valuable assets in the realm of global healthcare human resources. JBFNC focused on nursing education, training batches of 90 students (60 for Diplomas and 30 for BSc) in each cohort. NWNI embraced 40 students per batch, nurturing them into adept professionals. ENI, with a capacity of 40 students per batch, followed suit. The MATS, with its capacity for 160 students in each batch, strove to cultivate highly skilled Medical Assistants for the global healthcare sector. IIHS, meanwhile, accommodated 150 students in various disciplines and successfully certified them to excel in their respective fields.
Our accomplished and knowledgeable faculty members worked tirelessly to shape our students into ethical, efficient, and compassionate caregivers ready to embrace the global healthcare industry. Furthermore, our dedicated administrative team stood steadfastly by their side, helping to navigate challenges and ensuring a smooth journey.
The JBFF team remained steadfast in its commitment to eradicate illiteracy and poverty, envisioning a thriving Bangladesh - a nation characterized by literacy and empowerment. Our aspirations extended to a nation shielded from vulnerabilities and inefficiencies, where opportunities, innovations, and collaborations flourished.
