I stayed at Long Beach Hotel from 1st to 5th June and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers excellent hospitality, comfortable rooms and a pleasant environment. The staff were courteous, helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is convenient, the facilities are well maintained and the overall service exceeded my expectations. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and created some memorable moments. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cox's Bazar and look forward to staying again in the future.

I had the pleasure of staying for one day at Long Beach 5-Star Hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The service quality was outstanding, with highly professional, courteous, and attentive staff. The overall ambience was elegant, peaceful, and well-maintained. Vacancy available, personal car, IDs, and baggage—but no suitcase, no room. Apparently, at this ‘5-star’ hotel, luggage matters more than logic. Five stars for confusion, zero for common sense. Very strange “luggage mandatory” policy for walk-in guests We visited Long Beach Hotel Cox’s Bazar to book a room instantly (walk-in). The hotel had vacancy available, and we arrived in our own personal car, which we were ready to park inside the hotel’s parking area. We also had baggage with us, but the front desk insisted that they only allow guests who have “luggage”, meaning a visible suitcase or trolley. According to them, baggage was not considered luggage. This policy felt extremely confusing and honestly unreasonable. When guests arrive by personal car, provide identification, and the hotel has secured parking and CCTV, refusing accommodation solely because there is no suitcase does not make logical sense—especially for a hotel claiming 5-star standards. This felt like an outdated and rigid local assumption rather than a professional hospitality practice. Because of this policy, we were denied accommodation despite vacancy. Facilities may be good, but the guest handling and front desk policy need serious improvement to meet expected hotel standards.

Today I tried their food, and it was the worst dining experience I’ve had in Cox’s Bazar. I spent 3,100+ BDT hoping to enjoy good food. I ordered two basil chicken , one basil beef with fried rice, and Thai fried chicken. First, they forgot to serve the Thai fried chicken. When the food finally arrived, the fried rice did not seem freshly cooked and had an unpleasant, almost stale smell. The quantity of the rice was very low, while the chicken and beef curry portions were mismatched. Earlier, they said it would be a 1:1 portion, but it turned out to be more like 2:1, which resulted in a lot of curry being wasted. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was also not good. The only item that was decent was the soup. Overall, it felt like I threw my 3,000 BDT in the trash. I would not recommend this place. However, I must mention that the manager was quite professional and polite and said they would call me later, though I’m not sure when that will happen.
