My family and I had a delightful stay! The rooms were cozy, though some minor servicing would enhance them. The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel truly valued. The resort's location is perfect for exploring. I'd happily return, despite the lack of a kids' zone and limited Bengali food options.

Mermaid Beach Resort is one of the most family-friendly resorts in Cox’s Bazar, especially for those traveling with small children. The resort has a very large open space beside the beach, creating a peaceful and relaxing environment where kids can safely play and families can enjoy nature. Visiting before major holidays is the best choice, as the resort is less crowded and attractive room deals are usually available. Complimentary breakfast is included, which adds good value to the stay. The entire property is beautifully decorated with colorful Joba (Hibiscus) and lily flowers, giving the resort a refreshing tropical atmosphere. The employees are extremely welcoming, polite, and attentive. Their service quality is excellent and makes guests feel comfortable throughout the stay. The breakfast area is well organized and clean, although I personally did not enjoy the barefoot policy there. The wooden floor can sometimes feel uncomfortable and may hurt sensitive feet. Also, a few of the resort roofs need maintenance and repair. Some information about their return policy which I did not like. Once you buy the ticket there is no refund or no reschedule. No complimentary airport service. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was wonderful. My overall rating for this resort is five stars.

I stayed at Mermaid Beach Resort for 2 days with family, and the experience was amazing. The environment was very calm and aesthetically pleasing, surrounded by beautiful natural views and a relaxing atmosphere. Their service was excellent, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. They provide mosquito nets in the rooms, and upon request, the staff come and set them up. The breakfast items were very tasty. I especially enjoyed the swimming pool and had a great time there with my family. However, there was no white light in the room; all the lights were warm yellow, and the walls were also painted yellow. Because of this, I struggled a bit while getting ready. I also found the restaurant food prices overpriced. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would recommend the resort for its peaceful environment, natural beauty, and excellent service.

Spent an amazing time at Mermaid Beach Resort 🌴🌊 This place feels completely different from the busy side of Cox's Bazar. The peaceful environment, private beach vibe, and eco-friendly design make it perfect for relaxing and escaping the crowd. The cottages and villas are beautifully designed, giving a cozy tropical feeling from the moment you arrive. What I loved most was the calm atmosphere — sitting beside the sea at night with the sound of waves felt incredibly refreshing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was also really good, especially the seafood items. If you want a quiet, premium, and nature-friendly beach experience instead of the usual crowded tourist spots, Mermaid Beach Resort is definitely worth visiting. ✨🌅

I stayed 2 nights with family during 1st week of June, 26 and had a great time. 🏖️ 1. Beautiful private-style beach location Feels quiet, natural, and less crowded than Cox’s main beach 🌅 2. Strong natural vibe & scenery Ocean views, greenery, cottages, and sunset views are highly praised Eco-style design (bungalows/villas) gives a resort-in-nature feeling 🏨 3. Rooms & comfort Clean Spacious Well-maintained 👨🍳 4. Staff & hospitality Friendly Helpful Polite 🍽️ 5. Food quality Complementary breakfast was good. I had a dinner as well. Food and drinks very expensive.
