Very good hotel in diplomatic zone. Not much known or discussed. Though small premises, amenities are quite ok. Staffs are well behaved, cleanliness is at acceptable state. The rooftop meeting venue is not big but usable for small events. Their food quality is amazing. I liked their lunch too much. I will definitely visit this place again, at least their restaurant.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very safe and quiet as the embassies are concentrated. The food at the restaurant is also delicious and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Nascent Gardenia is a good hotel that is showing its age. Like other 4/5 star hotels, the staff opens the door when you arrive, treats you with respect, helps you with your bags, and makes you feel welcome. However, there were numerous issues that come from age: 1) My bathroom had an old smell of mildew and mold, and inspection of the edges of the bathtub showed lots of black dirt. The drains were clogged and did not empty of water easily. It felt very dirty. 2) Heavy dust in many areas of the room, like on top of the power strips, some of whose outlets did not function. 3) Lighting in some areas could be improved. That said, the hotel does have some positive notes like polite English speaking staff, a 24/7 secure building with guard, one of the best laundry services I’ve ever received (they fold clothes as if they’re brand new!), and ample availability of free bottles of water, to name a few. Located on a quiet street away from the traffic, which is a welcome location, and just a short 15 minute walk to Gulshan.

I recommend this place due to its location in the diplomatic zone. Overall the hotel is very good, nice rooms with excellent service and a decent breakfast. The food in the restaurant was good and they can print boarding passes. They have pickup and airport drop off service. We had a small problem with the shower wand and the building shows it's age. Never the less, I do recommend it.
