Prospective donors are expected to exhibit a body temperature lower than 99.5°F, maintain a pulse rate within the range of 60 to 100 beats per minute, and have blood pressure levels within the permitted range. Moreover, donors must boast a minimum hemoglobin concentration of 75% in their blood, ensuring its suitability for transfusion. Additionally, they should be free from any skin or blood disorders and devoid of any suspicious scarring indicative of drug addiction or professional blood trading.
