After a successful month of testing, Radio Foorti made its debut on September 22nd, 2006, marking the revival of FM culture in Bangladesh. As pioneers in the field, we secured the use of a new ordinance that paved the way for broadcast radio to flourish once again. Our mission was clear: to offer top-notch music and entertainment through a medium that had been overlooked during the rise of satellite television.
Radio Foorti wasted no time in expanding its reach. In July 2007, we hit the airwaves in Chittagong, and on February 1st, 2008, we ensured that Sylhet could tune in to Foorti at 89.8 MHz. We even adjusted our Dhaka frequency to 88.0 MHz, leaving no barriers between listeners and their desire for Foorti. By August 2010, Radio Foorti had conquered Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Mymensingh, and Cox's Bazaar, becoming the largest station in Bangladesh. We proudly Foortified the entire nation at 88 FM.
While our radio station has grown in size, our core objective remains unchanged. Radio Foorti continues to deliver a diverse selection of music, ranging from timeless classics to the latest releases by the top artists in Bangladesh.
