Renata is one of the largest pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh . It has two subsidiaries, Purnava Limited and Renata Agro Industries Limited. The Corporate Headquarters is at Mirpur . It exports medicines to various countries in the world .Recently, GAIN (The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition) provided US$2.9 million to Renata Limited and BRAC, to build and operate an innovative business model to produce and deliver multi-nutrient powders to vulnerable infants in Bangladesh. It has 19 depots and employs over 8000 people .

The company started its operations in 1972 as Pfizer (Bangladesh) Limited.
