"An Absolute Nightmare: Avoid at all costs’’ I recently had the misfortune of staying at Sairu and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a resort. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was a disaster. First off, the check-in process was a mess. We waited in line for over an hour, only to be told that our room wasn't ready. When we finally got to our room, it was filthy. The floors were sticky, the bathroom had mold, and there were stains on the sheets. It was as if the room hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. When we complained about the state of our room, they shrugged it off and said there was nothing they could do. It took multiple requests and several hours before they sent someone to clean, and even then, the job was half-done. The food was another major letdown. The buffet was full of stale, cold dishes, and the so-called "gourmet" restaurants were a joke. We got sick after our first meal and decided to eat off the resort. The amenities were either broken or nonexistent. The pool was dirty and overcrowded, the equipment was outdated and rusty or poorly organized. To top it all off, the noise levels were unbearable. Loud music and rowdy guests kept us up all night, and the thin walls offered no sound insulation. In short, Resort was a total disaster from start to finish. Save your money and sanity, and book elsewhere. This place should be shut down.

Wonderful place with beautiful hill top views. Rain makes the place even more gorgeous. Relax here with nature surrounding you. Could be a bit of a difficulty for groups with elderly people as the stairs to your rooms are very steep and strain your legs. Food prices are a bit expensive. But taste was lovely. Authentic food, cooked with bamboos. Loved the snack items as well. They serve complimentary tamarind juice every day, which is a delightful refresher. Only problem is there’s many insects around, which I guess happens with resorts based around nature 🥲

It's a nice place to visit but too remote to reach. If someone has a personal car it's one of the best places to visit. Foods are a little bit expensive. The natural scenery is charming. Rooms should have a hairdryer and electric iron. There should be an option for 2/3 day packages with food.

Awesome stay. View from premium room during sunset is breath taking. This resort got one of the best view infinity pool of Bangladesh. Quiet, calm and peaceful. Little far from Bandarban city, more than 20 KM. Food, specially local dishes was good. We tried bamboo chicken, which quite exceptional. But I find this stay is bit expensive in terms of room, food and services.

Excellent Hill Resort is located at a natural hilly environment with very good room facilities and excellent but expensive food service. Several viewpoints are available. Have a beautiful swimming pool beside the conference centre with all the facilities. Helipad also present here. Parking facilities with driver accommodation are also available.
Nestled amidst the breathtaking lush green hills, SAIRU Hill Resorts offers a captivating setting known for its natural beauty and deep-rooted Buddhist culture. Situated on the hill slopes at the Y-junction of the road from Bandarban to Chimbuk/Nilgiri, this conveniently located resort is only 18 km away from Bandarban Town. Spanning across a sprawling 12-acre site, the resort provides a mesmerizing 360º panoramic view. From March to September, the air is adorned with low drifting clouds, creating an enchanting atmosphere that allows guests to feel as if they are living among the clouds. The ethereal mist gently caresses those who visit, providing a unique and immersive experience. Overlooking the Shangu River, the Bay of Bengal, and the hilly range along the Myanmar border, the area offers stunning vistas. On a clear and sunny day, guests can even catch a glimpse of the Bay of Bengal on the horizon, just 40 km away as the crow flies.
Bandarban, situated in the southeastern part of Bangladesh, is a district that boasts natural beauty and forms a part of the Chittagong Division and Chittagong Hill Tracts. Renowned as one of the most captivating travel destinations in Bangladesh, Bandarban derives its name from "bandar" meaning "monkey" and "ban" meaning "dam." The town of Bandarban is home to the Bohmong Chief, currently King (or Raja) Aung Shwe Prue Chowdhury, who leads the Marma population. Additionally, Bandarban serves as the administrative headquarters of the district, which has become an exotic tourist hotspot in Bangladesh since the cessation of insurgency in the Chittagong Hill Tracts over a decade ago.
At SAIRU Hill Resorts, guests can expect world-class service and amenities designed to cater to both local and foreign tourists who seek relaxation amidst natural beauty, enjoy leisurely walks or adventurous treks, and have an interest in visiting indigenous communities in the surrounding areas.
