**Scummy owner, stay at your own risk** Stayed there for 2 nights this March for my honeymoon and it was probably the most miserable experience i've ever had. Experience: I asked the hotel boy to manage me a motorbike at a fair price so that I could visit cheradip in a round trip considering the easybikes were charging insane amounts and running a synducate there. The boy referred me to a bearded local who was willing to take us there on the second day and we negotiated the price at 500tk round trip. So he drops us there in the afternoon and agrees to come pick us up when we call him. At around 5pm we call him, he picks us up and drops us off at the beach near our hotel. I pay him 500 and he starts arguing with me that I negotiated at 1000tk round trip which means for dropping off and picking us up it was 500 individually. So I tell him that I wouldn’t have rented at that insane price because it simply isnt fair and affordable for me. So he refuses to take the money and leaves. Later on, at night around 10pm the hotel boy calls me to the lobby and I go there. Then I learn that this guy is the owner of the hotel. This guy brings his wife and his son and both him and his wife starts to berate and threaten me. He keeps telling me that he has influence and nobody will be able to do anything to him and almost forces me to pay him and leave the hotel at that hour in the middle of the night. I kept my cool the whole time, never threatened or shouted at him for even a second. I finally pay him 300 more because it felt very risky at time to protest. The hotel boy told us later on that the owner hit him because he didnt make it clear that it was 500tk per trip. It totally ruined our experience and scared my wife. Ironically, I was not even supposed to stay there and chose another hotel but only did so because the hotel boy advertised us a cheap room when we were looking for a hotel. Pros: Rooms are cheap. Cons: Service is mediocre. Electricity goes out every few hours. Rude owner, misbehaves with patrons and scams as well. Not recommended.

Shahajalal resort in Saint Martin Island. A mid level Resort. Owner Mr. Helal a very gentle man. Room was neat and clean. Washroom also neat and clean. I am starting Room no. 10, 11 & 12. No. 10 and 11 is high comod, Single Couple bed and 12 is low comod and Double bed. A small table and one mirror in every room. Bed was need to repair slightly. Has breakfast, lunch and dinner facility of their own kitchen. Not so far from Beach ⛱️. Just 60 steps. From resort. Very close to Saint Martin jetti. 100 tk van rent from jetti to resort approx. Half KM distance.

The owner of this resort Mr.Helal is one of the most gentleman I ever seen.The service is 10/10. Just tell him what you need & he will serve. only limitation is dinning facility. They don't have dinning facility though you can take food from 10steps far .security is 10/10

Worst resort/hotel that I have ever been in my life. Food, service, Staff behaviour(except the manager) everything is bad. Poor Quality of Management.
