Amidst the global efforts to combat poverty, we must acknowledge that persons with disabilities often find themselves overlooked and left behind. Shockingly, one out of every seven individuals faces some form of disability, amounting to a staggering one billion people worldwide. Sadly, 80 percent of these individuals reside in low to middle-income countries, where their potential remains untapped and they are often disregarded within the job market.

Unfortunate stereotypes perpetuate the belief that those with physical disabilities are incapable of contributing or being productive. This deeply ingrained discrimination has led to a significant portion of the workforce being relegated to the margins of our society, their talents and abilities unrealized.
