Notably, the visionary blueprint for the factory was conceptualized by none other than the esteemed ceramist, Mr. Kyoki Yamazaki, hailing from the renowned Sone Ceramic in Japan – a luminary who later graced the Japan Overseas Development Company (JODC) with his expertise.

The intricate machinery at the heart of operations predominantly hails from distinguished Japanese manufacturers. It was on the dawn of September 1st, 1993, that the factory's machinery hummed to life in full-fledged commercial production. Strategically situated a mere 10 kilometers away from the Dhaka International Airport, the facility has assembled a robust workforce of 600 adept individuals.

A harmonious symphony of skills and dedication resonates within the ranks of SCI's personnel, culminating in an impressive daily output of approximately 47,000 diverse tableware pieces, equivalent to a weight of 13.1 metric tons.
