Walking in, I honestly thought I’d accidentally joined an aquarium exhibit — except I was the fish. The décor screams “under the sea” so loudly that you half expect someone to throw fish food at you. If you stare long enough, you might start bubbling. The place is quiet — eerily quiet — like the calm before a storm or a power outage. Perfect if your idea of a good time is pretending you’re meditating at the bottom of the ocean. It’s definitely spacious though. You could host a small family reunion and still have room for your emotional baggage. There are private dining rooms too, because apparently, eating seafood while being watched by random strangers ruins the “aquatic” experience. Now, let’s talk food — especially the hot pot. Oh wait, you were thinking of coming here for the hot pot? Adorable. Don’t. They’ve somehow managed to turn one of the most customizable meals in the world into a “we’ll give you what we have, and you’ll like it” situation. The selection is so limited you’ll start missing instant noodles. And for the price? Let’s just say you could probably buy your own hot pot set and open a mini restaurant at home. However, credit where due — the non–hot pot food is actually decent. Order literally anything else, and you’ll walk away somewhat happy. Arrangements: Indoor dining for solo diners, couples, and anyone else trying to justify the bill. Smoking area available — probably for those who need to calm down after seeing the prices. Food: Taste 5/5 — surprisingly good when you order the right thing. Pricing: Let’s call it “reasonably expensive.” Service: The waiters are polite enough to make you forget you’re overspending. Parking: Roadside — because nothing says “fine dining” like fighting for a spot next to a rickshaw.

The food has a strange and horrible taste like human sweat or cockroaches or rats, I guess it's because the utensils used to make the food are dirty for too long, that smell is in most of the rolls with rice. It's terrible to continue serving Japanese food with this disgusting taste. Please stop cheating your customers.

Recently visited Sushi Tei, and it was a very good dining experience. The food was expensive but absolutely delicious. We had assorted nigiri platter, grilled salmon, octopus balls, and seafood udon - all perfectly prepared. 💯💯 The restaurant itself is a gem. The ambience is spot-on, with amazing interior and exterior decorations making it an ideal spot for capturing great pictures. Whether you're here for the cuisine or the setting, Sushi Tei won't disappoint. Highly recommended!

Best Japanese food ever in Bangladesh. Sushi Tei is a Japanese chain restaurant. Ambiance is so gorgeous and wonderful. Entrance is very welcoming and staircase in nicely designed and lights are perfectly setup. It has a vibe. Everyones behaviour was fantastic, there was a soothing music playing in background which we really did enjoy. Excellent & delicious food. Combination of sauce with Sushi is super good. Loved the place. If you want to try authentic Japanese food, must visit place.

My experience at Sushi Tai was extremely disappointing. While the initial welcome was adequate, the service deteriorated rapidly. It felt as though we were not valued guests, possibly due to our limited order from the ramen menu, as we are new to Japanese cuisine. The waiters were inattentive, bordering on rude, and did not check on us after serving our food. This lack of guest attention is unacceptable. I urge the restaurant's management to address these issues and ensure all customers feel welcome, regardless of their order size.
