If you like Indian food, you really should check out this place. The food was nothing less than amazing. Every dish I tried was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. And the service was great to top it all off.

Truly a beautiful restaurant no doubt! Ordered platter for two which costed 1550++ means around 1800 🙄 strangely this restaurant charging highest service charge I have seen so far...very disappointing 😞 😑 Now let's come to food platter...it comes with vegetable, tarka daal, polao, beef panjabi, chicken grill, naan and 4 pieces of chicken momos.Shahi tukra as dessert. Vegetable, polao was awfully bad. Grilled chicken, shahi tukra and momo was good. Punjabi beef and tarka daal was average. I ordered jeera pani, and doi fuchka separately.they were good as well. My total bill was around 2450tk.as per price food quantity was not satisfactory.and this much service charge is not expected. They have parking but the guard won't let you park there..behavior was very rude. Last but not the least will I go there again?..probably but not so sure!

It was my favourite restaurant for the past 1 year! We always take the platter for 2 person, which costs 1800++. It comes with momo, tanduri, naan, vegetable, daal makhani, beef rezala, raita salad, pulao and shahi tukra. We ordered a sweet lassi and zeera pani, that was our favourite too. But yesterday,I was a bit disappointed with the food. I hope it was a one time mistake, hopefully they will be back with their previous food service. Other than that, their ambiance is always so awesome and calming!

They are on the experience side, yet the taste of the food and ambience makes up for it. We took The Anarkali Platter and it cost around 2k with vat and taxes. That is good enough for two adults and our 4 year old. They have raised the prices for most of the items substantially.
Over the course of its existence, Tarka has undergone a remarkable evolution. Initially conceived as a laid-back, neighborhood Indian eatery in Banani, where people could simply drop by to savor delectable Curry, Thaali, or Chaat dishes and hang out with friends, it has now metamorphosed into an exquisite fine dining destination.
Tarka's journey began with a vision of being a relaxed and genuinely Indian restaurant. The aspiration was never to be a formal and opulent fine dining establishment, but rather a place that exuded warmth, authenticity, and a sense of ease," shared Nazmus Shakib, the managing partner of Tarka.
However, as Tarka flourished, its identity gradually embraced the concept of a fine-dining experience, leading to a decision to relocate and undergo a stunning makeover to cater to a broader clientele, including families seeking a sophisticated culinary outing.
"We have embraced our transformation into a fine dining restaurant, and it has been heartening to witness an increasing number of families choosing to dine with us," added Nazmus Shakib.
Despite the evolving clientele and ambiance, Tarka remains unwavering in its commitment to serve authentic Indian cuisine, staying true to its roots. The culinary delights offered continue to showcase the rich and genuine flavors of India.
As Tarka continues to thrive and enchant diners with its refined atmosphere and mouthwatering Indian delicacies, it cherishes the memories of its humble beginnings while embracing the exciting prospects that the future holds.
