St. Martin's Atlantic Resort: Excellent Service vs. Disappointing Room Quality Last week, I had the opportunity to stay at the 'Atlantic Resort' in St. Martin. I am not sure whether I should call it my luck or my misfortune. I had been wanting to stay here since my last two visits to St. Martin, so this time I booked a room with great interest long ago. Here are my experiences with this resort and some necessary precautions: 1. Service vs. Room Quality: Their hospitality and service were, in a word, excellent. But compared to the service, my experience with the room quality was very bitter. I had to pay 7,000 taka for the room I stayed in on the ground floor (1st floor). However, the sofa in that room was broken and the overall quality was very poor. I felt that staying in this room for 7,000 taka was just a waste of money. Due to this poor condition of the room, I was forced to change the resort later. 2. Food Cost: I found the food prices at Atlantic Resort to be much higher than other resorts in St. Martin. This high price is somewhat unreasonable compared to the quality. My advice to future tourists: For those who are planning to stay at Atlantic Resort or are going to book a room, I have a special request for them - while booking a room, do not decide only by looking at the pictures or seeing the glitter of the upper floor. Before confirming the room, definitely see the room on a 'live video call' to make sure that everything is in order. Especially in the case of rooms on the ground floor, extra caution is required. May your trip to St. Martin be a pleasant one, but choose a place to stay by ensuring that you get the right value for your hard-earned money.
